Green Infrastructure

Green infrastructure is an approach towards tackling the problem of CSOs using natural and plant based methods. For example, this means planting more trees or planting more neighborhood gardens instead of building tanks. This kind of infrastructure is mostly focusing on slowing the flow. It uses water as a resource and not as waste. Green infrastructure is very effective, doesn't cost so much money or cause economic strain, and it enhances the mood and quality of life for the people surrounding it. Some examples of green infrastructure are bioswales, rain gardens, green roofs, and living walls.
