WHO WE ARE
The four main scientists behind this research is Inkaira Ramos, Genesis Aramboles, Melina Tavarez, and Suany Barahona. We have visited reservoirs, old aqueducts, and collected and analyzed data on the water quality of our harbors. We researched water quality parameters in stations in New York Harbor and identified problem areas that are lost within overall averages that are put in annual quality reports provided by the city. We are a group of environmentalists who are deeply passoinate about preserving New Yorks harbors. We want to help the city and it all starts with the first step, being informed.

WHAT WE DO
"Save the flow, Stop CSOs"
As part of Dr. Foxes Environmental Science Class, we are working to educate and spread awareness about the problem that CSOs pose to New York Harbor or New Yorkers themselves and ways we can work towards solutions! As people who live in New York, we want to protect and conserve our environment. If we don't protect it then nobody else will! CSOs pose many environmental, economical, and perhaps even social barriers that stop New Yorkers from being great. Through educating people about green, blue, and grey infrastructure and what specific actions we can do at home that can stop the problem of CSOs. Together, we can make a change! We want to bring the flow back into our city sewers and as well as city life itself!
